There will be a meeting for all boys interested in trying out for basketball tomorrow, September 6th, immediately after school [2:30pm] in Holliday Gym. See Coach Ferrell in room 1320 for questions.
The featured speaker at the WELL FORUM this afternoon is Cliff Bumgardner, a local teen filmmaker who has made a documentary on Vic Spence, a Broughton grad and WW2 veteran who has worked in Wake County Law Enforcement for 40 years. Hear what we have to learn from Vic's unique life story and how Cliff put it into film.
There will be a JV Cheerleading tryout at 3:30 - 5:30 PM in the small gym. If you are interested in trying out, you must have a current physical and be prepared with the proper attire.
Friday, September 7, is the regular registration deadline for the October 6 SAT.

Thinking about pharmacy as a career option? The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, has scheduled a Pharmacy Open House for high school students on Friday, September 7th from 77-8pm in Kerr Hall, Room 2001. Governor Beverly Perdue has proclaimed September 2012 as PTA Membership Enrollment Month in North Carolina. All students, parents, and staff members are encouraged to join. Each year our PTSA awards two $1,000 scholarships to seniors who are members of the PTSA and whose high school activities reflect the mission of the PTSA.
Seniors: Ask your parents to mark their calendars for Senior Parent Night scheduled for Thursday, September 13th, from 7-8:00pm in the Diane Payne Auditorium. All senior Parents and students are invited! The counselors will talk about the college application process, graduation requirements, and paying for college.
