Transcript Requests for College & Scholarships

Broughton is making it easier to request transcripts. If you are currently enrolled, choose one of the options below. Former students within 5 years should follow option 2. Former students who attended more than 5 years ago should contact WCPSS Central Records at (919)850-1638

Option 1:

Electronic Transcript Requests:

Option 2:

You may also request a transcript from the Guidance Department at Broughton. A transcript should be requested 5-7 days before you need it to be mailed. There is no charge for the first 3 transcripts each school year. After receiving written permission from the parent, the transcripts will be sent to any college, university, or organization requested.

Additional Information:

1. There is no charge for the following paper transcript requests:

  • Mid-year senior year transcript
  • Final transcript after graduation to the college or university that you will attend
  • Transcripts for any scholarship or award requested by the high school scholarship committee

Please complete a transcript request form at Broughton and turn it in to the Guidance Department. These transcripts will be sent through US Mail.

Electronic Transcripts Phase 1 (Docufide and paper requests only)

2. Scholarship requests - You may request a transcript from the Guidance Department for scholarship applications. Follow the same procedures listed in "Paper Requests for Transcripts". A transcript should be requested 5-7 days before you need it to be mailed.

3. In order for a transcript to be "official", it must be:

  • Delivered electronically through CFNC
  • Sent from the high school office to the college, university, or organization without the student or parent handling it.

4. Official transcripts for current students are available each year by the 20th school day.
