It's already time to think about the 2011-2012 PTA Reflections Program. This is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their many artistic talents. Students create artwork in one of six categories, with the artwork reflecting the student's interpretation of the year's theme,
"Diversity Means..."
The categories are:
- 1 Dance Choreography
- 2 Film Production
- 3 Literature
- 4 Musical Composition
- 5 Photography
- 6 Visual Arts
The top twelve entries, irrespective of the categories, will be sent to represent Broughton in the Wake County Reflections competition. If you win at the county level, your entry could go on to the District, State and National level. Each student can submit as many entries as they want in any or all categories. Deadline for entries is November 7, 2011. Entry forms can be found on the Broughton website by going to the Forms section or in Ms. Carty's room 258. Check the DAB for further information.
