Freshman Class of 2016

Welcome 9th graders and families!  Please join the BHS Class of 2016 Yahoo Group to receive important class information throughout the next four years! To join, send an email to with ENROLL ME in the subject line. You may list as many email addresses that you would like to receive emails.

Freshman Early Start Day: Wednesday, August 22, from 9:00 - 11:30 am. Freshman should bring class schedules and report to the BHS Cafeteria between 8:45-9:00 am.  Freshmen will meet their CAPS Class Buddies, CAPS Class Teacher and follow their schedule so that they can meet each teacher prior to the first day of school.  
9th Grade Parent Orientation: Wednesday, August 22, from 9:00 - 11:15 am OR 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Diane Payne Auditorium.  This orientation will review suggestions and tips for parents of 9th graders and provide an opportunity to ask questions.

Freshman Pizza Lunch on the first day of school, August 27.  Freshmen will enjoy a pizza lunch on the front lawn. Please contact Alicia Haugh at or Cindy Lewis at to volunteer or donate items.
Class of 2016 Parent Coffees will be held the first Wednesday of each month at 8:45 am beginning September 5, at the Cameron Village Chic-fil-a, second floor.  Please plan to attend!  Consider a donation to the Class of 2016 to help fund the Freshman Pizza Lunch, Homecoming activities and class events for the next four years!  Checks should be made payable to "BHS Class of 2016" and mailed to Gail Willard, 704 Runnymede Rd, Raleigh, NC 27607.
