WCAP is Broughton High School's student-run video production facility. A live newscast is broadcast through the school's in-house television channel each morning. WCAP is on the air at the end of first period on most days, and during CAPS Class on Tuesday's.
WCAP began it's tradition of Broughton Broadcasting in the 1992-1993 school year. This year, they will be celebrating their 20th season!

Located in the heart of Raleigh and near North Carolina State University, Broughton is one of the oldest of 28 high schools in Wake County. In 1929 Broughton began a tradition of excellence which continues today. Highlighting its motto, "Approve Ye That Which Is Excellent," Broughton High School serves a diverse population of over 2,100 young people with an emphasis on academic excellence and community involvement.
